Since The Beat Coffeehouse opened three years ago inside the Emergency Arts building downtown, it has slowly dawned upon business people and others moving into the eastern part of Fremont Street that it is the place do business, talk details, sign deals and meet. This is a panorama shot Thursday morning inside The Beat, and typical of most days, people are surfing the Internet, a few regulars off their graveyard casino shifts are having coffee and the business of business is being worked out.
