CEELO’S GUESTS: New Strip headliner CeeLo Green says he’s left room in his show “Loberace” at Planet Hollywood to allow guests to drop in to perform. He’s expecting fellow “The Voice” judges Adam Levine and Blake Shelton to be the first and possibly P.Diddy.
CeeLo will return to the next season of “The Voice” on NBC before resuming his residency in October. He says that he’s thrilled with the reaction to “Loberace,” which showcases his 20-year career.

Las Vegas restaurants were added Wednesday night to iPhone app Chefs Feed with restaurant recommendations and food gossip. More than 600 of the nation’s top chefs, including Las Vegas stars Thomas Keller, Michael Mina, Mario Batali and Wolfgang Puck, have made recommendations.
New highlights include chef Mathieu Chartron from Guy Savoy at Caesars Palace, Claude Le-Tohic from Joel Robuchon and Ben Jenkins at Michael Mina in Bellagio. Chefs Feed was named “Best of 2012” by Apple in its selection of the Top 70 from 900,000 at iTunes.

FIRST ANNIVERSARY: It was a vision nearly 20 years in the making, but Sunday marks the first anniversary of our Smith Center for the Performing Arts, and during its first 12 months, 420,000 tickets have been sold for 450 performances. More than 42,000 students have visited. Its iconic Carillon Tower bells have rung more than 4,380 times, and more than 220 volunteer-led tours have attracted 5,500 people.
The Nevada Legislature has declared March 10 as “Day of The Smith Center for the Performing Arts” in the State of Nevada. “It has been a monumental year for us as an organization and a city,” said Myron Martin, president and CEO. “We’re just getting started. This past year was incredible, but what’s to come is even better.”
XS STATS: When Nightclub and Bar popped XS in Steve Wynn’s Encore at the top of its newest Top 100 ranking, it wasn’t the first time it won. XS was named No. 1 in 2010 and 2011 but slipped to 2nd in 2012. Now it’s risen to the top again for the hat trick with record-breaking revenue of $80 million. More than 40 DJs are on the residency list, including Avicii, Will.I.Am, Dirty South and Martin Solveig for this new season.

A Jack Nicholson lookalike led a celebrity parade that include Zowie Bowie’s Chris Phillips, and Paul Vato from the Binions cigar store handed out 18” cigars that take four hours to smoke. I’m told that some weeks, FCC will have star performers.

No one with character would open their private lives to this kind of scrutiny for money. Once aware of the content, I can't imagine wanting to watch such a spectacle.
