A car crashed into a traffic signal box Wednesday morning, knocking out the traffic lights at the intersection of Eastern Avenue and Windmill Lane.
The accident was reported just after 7 a.m. in the 2300 block of Windmill Lane, Metro Police said.
Police believe the driver may have suffered a medical episode that caused him to crash his sedan into the traffic box and then a pickup truck in a nearby Walgreens parking lot.
The driver of the sedan was transported to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, police said. His condition was not immediately available.
Police contacted Clark County to fix the traffic signal.
