Two people suffered critical injuries in a collision between a motorcycle and car Tuesday night on Las Vegas Boulevard, Metro Police reported.
The collision happened about 8:30 p.m. at Silverado Ranch Boulevard. Erik Nzuwa, 18, was driving the motorcycle with Tonya Leafham, 18, riding as a passenger, police said.
A Mini Cooper driven by Molly Potter, 28, of Las Vegas, attempted to turn left from Las Vegas Boulevard onto Silverado Ranch Boulevard, police said. The motorcycle struck the right front door of the car, throwing Nzuwa and Leafham from the motorcycle, police said.
All three people were transported to University Medical Center.
Leafham and Nzuwa, both of Las Vegas, were in critical condition; Potter suffered minor injuries, police said.
The crash remains under investigation.
