The body of a male was found Friday morning on the side of Blue Diamond Road, the result of what authorities believe might have been a hit and run.
Metro Police are investigating, and Blue Diamond Road is closed in both directions near Cimarron Road, according to Officer Larry Hadfield.
If the death is determined to be the result of a hit and run, Nevada Highway Patrol will take over the investigation. Otherwise, Metro Police will carry out the investigation.
