Forget drive-in movies. Las Vegas now has a dive-in theater.
Starting Friday, Wet ‘n’ Wild Las Vegas will host a Dive ‘n’ Movie night every other Friday in the Red Rock Bay wave pool.
Park patrons will get to catch a PG-rated flick as they splash around the park. Movie tickets are included in park admissions.
Featured movies start at 8 p.m. and end at 10 p.m., when the park closes during the summer. The promotion ends Aug. 23.
Here’s the schedule:
• June 28: "Escape from Planet Earth "
• July 12: "Paranorman"
• July 26: "Wreck-It Ralph"
• Aug. 9: "Madagascar 3"
• Aug. 23: "Rise of the Guardian"
Located in the 7000 block of South Fort Apache Road, Wet ‘n’ Wild is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday through Thursday.
