Terry Bradshaw rehearses for “Terry Bradshaw: America’s Favorite Dumb Blonde — A Life in Four Quarters” on Wednesday, June 26, 2013, in Las Vegas.

Interview with Terry Bradshaw

It’s not unusual for a man named Terry to entertain audiences at the Mirage. It’s just that it’s usually the ventriloquist Fator, not the football legend Bradshaw.

On Friday, the former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback and current "NFL on Fox" analyst took the stage inside the Terry Fator Theatre for “America’s Favorite Dumb Blonde ... A Life in Four Quarters.” He'll be back Saturday night.

The variety-themed show finds 64-year-old Bradshaw in storytelling mode, reflecting on everything from his Louisiana upbringing and four Super Bowl wins to his marriages (all three of them) and broadcasting career.

Along the way, there will be some comedy — anyone who has followed Bradshaw’s TV career knows he doesn’t take himself too seriously — and music. (Little know fact: Bradshaw recorded a country album for Mercury Records on the heels of his second Super Bowl win.)

During rehearsals for “America’s Favorite Dumb Blonde,” Las Vegas Magazine caught up with Bradshaw to pick his brain about his upcoming shows.
