Traffic Accidents:

Highway Patrol seeks public’s help identifying driver involved in hit and run

Hit and Run

The Nevada Highway Patrol is asking for the public’s help in identifying a driver involved in a hit and run near the Strip earlier in June.

Highway Patrol responded to the incident at around 1:40 a.m. June 15 in the westbound lanes of Flamingo Road near Caesars Palace.

A male pedestrian was crossing the road when he was hit by a silver or gray Chevrolet pickup truck, which continued driving along the road, Trooper Loy Hixson said in a statement. The truck should have damage on the right front side.

Anyone with information about the hit and run is asked to call the Highway Patrol at 702-432-4414
