Fire reported
A vehicle caught fire Wednesday afternoon in a garage, sending Clark County Fire units to The Paramount apartments.
Units responded shortly before 1 p.m. to the apartments, 8610 S. Maryland Parkway, near East Wigwam Avenue, according Deputy Chief Fernandez Leary.
There they found the vehicle on fire in a garage. The fire was put out within minutes but still caused extensive damage to the vehicle, Leary said.
Leary said the fire's cause still was under investigation.
