51s slug their way past Colorado Springs, 11-5

Each Las Vegas 51s position player in the starting lineup Saturday had at least one hit and run scored in an 11-5 victory against visiting Colorado Springs at Cashman Field.

The 51s’ 14-hit attack included four solo home runs — from Andrew Brown, Wilmer Flores, Zach Lutz and Rylan Sandoval. They scored three runs in the third, sixth and seventh innings.

Lutz went 3-for-4 with three RBIs, shortstop Brandon Hicks was 3-for-4 with two runs scored and Brian Bixler went 2-for-3 with two RBIs in the leadoff spot.
