GOP has been known to lie, too

In response to J.J. Schrader’s July 14 letter, “Administration caught lying again:” He’s right. What we need is another honest Republican in the White House, like Ronald Reagan. Does anyone remember Iran Contra?

Or what about Richard Nixon and the Watergate break-in, his enemy’s list or the 18 missing minutes of the White House tapes?

Then there’s George W. Bush and his made-up intelligence about weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. That cost the lives of 4,400 Americans.

Like they say, people who live in glass houses shouldn’t cast stones.
