State energy director resigns

Stacey Crowley, director of the state Office of Energy, has resigned to take a job in California, Gov. Brian Sandoval said Friday.

Crowley has been in the position since January 2011, when she was appointed by Sandoval, who said she has worked to bring renewable energy sources to Nevada.

No replacement was named for the $106,904-a-year job.
