Driver pronounced dead after crash in parking lot

One person was pronounced dead Friday after an accident in a parking lot, Metro Police reported.

A green Toyota Camry and a brown Camry collided in a parking lot in the 5800 block of West Harmon Road shortly after noon, Officer Marcus Martin said.

The male driver of the green Toyota was transported to Spring Valley Hospital and was pronounced dead upon arrival, police said.

There was no information available on the condition of the driver of the other car.

Officers are investigating the possibility that one of the drivers had a medical episode before the collision, Martin said.
