A gunfight erupted as two men attempted to rob a jewelry store Thursday afternoon. Around 4:50 p.m., the suspects went into Huntington’s Jewelry Inc. at 7385 W. Sahara Ave. near Tenaya Way, Metro Police Lt. David Jacoby said. Gunshots were exchanged as the suspects and an employee each fired at least one shot.
