LAS VEGAS — The Las Vegas Strip, home to themed casinos that mimic the canals of Venice and the skyscrapers of Manhattan, is getting a new events center modeled on an Eastern European glass factory. The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas is developing a 3,000-capacity theater that has sat empty since the hotel-casino opened in 2010. "Imagine a Czechoslovakian glass factory."
Hmmm... Well, I imagine open flames and assembly lines and boxes of beer steins and...hmmm...what else? People dressed in all-white uniforms and fork-lifts and really clean floors.
Sounds like a blast! Can't wait to party there.
Will we be able to buy Czech-made "Chelsea" shot glasses in the gift shop?
