A plan to allow tourists to shoot high-end Italian guns inside a casino on the Las Vegas Strip appears to have fallen apart.The company behind the effort to install a Beretta shooting range and gun store inside the Shoppes at Palazzo is withdrawing its permit application.County spokesman Dan Kulin confirms that Phase II Mall Subsidiary pulled its application Wednesday during a meeting of the Clark County Commission.Beretta had proposed a 20,000-square-foot complex complete with two live gun ranges, three virtual ranges and a retail store selling guns but not ammunition.Representatives for the adjoining Venetian resort opposed the proposal, saying it ...
