Joe Downtown: Catalyst Week brings motivational speakers downtown

Continuing its effort to “inspire and be inspired by our surroundings,” Downtown Project brings 13 people from around the country to downtown Las Vegas this week to talk about microfinance, filtering water bottles and all there is to know about rejection and how to turn it into opportunity, among other topics

All are part of Catalyst Week, which begins Thursday and ends Saturday.

A menu of speakers says the aim of Catalyst Week is to help people reach their potential. “Success means everything from entrepreneurial success to personal fulfillment to social impact,” it says.

Five people are slated to speak Thursday, beginning at 6 p.m. in the Downtown Project Construction Zone trailers, 158 S. 7th St.
