Worker killed
An industrial accident Monday morning at Apex Quarry and Plant killed a male worker, officials said.
The accident happened shortly before 11:30 a.m., and the man was pronounced dead at the scene, said Capt. Cedric Williams of the North Las Vegas Fire Department.
It’s unclear how the man died, Williams said. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration is investigating.
The Clark County Coroner’s Office will identify the worker pending notification of his relatives.
The plant is located off Highway 91, about eight miles north of the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Lhoist North America of Arizona Inc. operates the plant, which primarily produces lime.

Tragic accident, but no, OSHA will most likely not be handling that case because that facility is under MSHA jurisdiction not OSHA. He was an all around nice guy this is truely overwhelming for the crew out there, my prayers are with the family and co workers.
