Updated Monday, Jan. 21, 2013 | 7:51 a.m.

A double-wide mobile home caught fire Monday morning near Owens Avenue and Lamb Boulevard, Las Vegas Fire and Rescue spokesman Tim Szymanski said.

Firefighters received reports at 6:55 a.m. of a fire at the Villa de Oro Mobile Home Park in the 4500 block of Owens Avenue, Szymanski said. Firefighters arrived to find the mobile home engulfed in flames.

The fire was extinguished 15 minutes later, Szymanski said. Nobody was at the home at the time of the fire, he said.

Fire investigators were working to determine the cause of the blaze and assess the damage.
