Man shoots woman in leg at Teton Trails Park

Woman shot

A man opened fire at a soccer game Saturday and shot a woman in the leg, then fled, police said.

At least one shot was fired about 11 a.m. at Teton Trails Park, near Grand Teton Drive and North Bradley Road, said Metro Police Officer Marcus Martin.

Martin said the woman was shot with a small-caliber bullet and was taken to University Medical Center with injuries that were not life-threatening.

The shooting remains under investigation.

  1. The LV Sun story is very different from the LVRJ version. There is no mention of a man doing the shooting in the RJ version. They make it sound like a random bullet that hit a woman.
There are also 5 different gun and shooting articles on the LV Sun front page. Do I detect an agenda?
