A man who told police he used “jiu-jitsu” and “world-class Kung-fu” to knock out an elderly man has been charged with murder after the victim died. Prosecutors amended a criminal complaint this week to charge Pedro Sandoval, 30, with murder of a victim 60 years of age or older, in addition to an existing battery charge. The victim, identified by the Clark County Coroner’s Office as 70-year-old David Meehan, died Jan. 11 at University Medical Center. The cause and manner of his death have not been determined, officials said. Metro Police arrested Sandoval on Dec. 17 after he allegedly attacked ...

  1. Pretty tough guy beating up a 70yr old. No he gets to be in with all the tough guys!

  2. I can only hope he gets 'what HE deserves'.... and then some.

  3. "A man who told police he used "jiu-jitsu" and "world-class Kung-fu" to knock out an elderly man has been charged with murder after the victim died."

Attention all old age pensioners ... a gapping hole in a mans chest from a 357 magnum will take the fight right out of him!!!!!!!!!!

  4. I have the perfect solution for this guy. It involves a pickup bumper, piano wire, a part of his anatomy and speeds likely below 30 mph.

  5. Uh oh, we'd better ban kung fu and jiu jitsu right away!!!!

  6. thanks proofus, took the words right outta my mouth

  7. Looks like a fine, upstanding person.

    Incarcerate, convict, execute.

  8. I don't really think this happened because there is a law against killing people and therefore could not be a true story. Passing laws elimiates all these problems and no one would dare break the law. As soon as the new gun laws take effect, there will not be anymore people killed or shot with guns. Criminals would probably be first in line to turn in their guns knowing there would be no crazy armed citizens to protect their homes and families.

  9. Sandoval. That name sounds familiar. Must be nice to have relatives killing people in Vegas. Welcome to New Mexico...

  10. Mr.Meehan, should have had a gun.

  11. BIG TOUGH GUY... Beating up a 70 yr old man? Seriously? I sooooo wish I would have been there to defend Mr. Meehan cause this guy would have been the one in the hospital.

Thankfully, good people intervened and helped police catch this scumbag. Let him try and be a tough guy in state prison. He wont stand a chance.

  12. Might be a clash of cultures. Macho Hispanics often do not comprehend the traditional cultures of this country--even if their families have been here for generations. Many Hispanics do but so many do not. Macho is NOT cool or acceptable. Violence on women, rape of children, assault of elderly....

  13. Europe keeps telling us that "multi-culturalism" does NOT WORK. They maintain their national borders and DEPORT ILLEGALS in an abrupt no-tolerance manner, whenever possible. Sure it's not their number one priority all the time but every now and then, they have demonstrations to remind the politicos that illegals MUST GO HOME, cannot stay wherever they've invaded.

  14. If your mommy (or grandmother) was here illegally, you are NOT a citizen. We need the SCOTUS to explain it to Obama etal. For the survival of the nation we must start ENFORCING OUR LAWS.

  15. I didn't see anywhere in this article where they mentioned this man to be 1)from Mexico 2)illegal.
I guess ASS-uming it must make it true.
Not defending the guy, he deserves the full extent of the consequences of his actions. But these comments are just another example of the hype to degrade and blame the illegals for EVERYTHING that is wrong with our society. I agree 100% that illegals shouldn't be allowed in our country, but I also believe that the people who CONTINUE to hire them should also be held responsible.
