A female hiker was rescued by air Thursday after falling while hiking Calico Vista at Red Rock Canyon, Metro Police officials said.
The woman sustained a laceration, but police said her injuries were non-life-threatening.
Police received reports of the fall about 11:15 a.m. Metro Search and Rescue found the 25-year-old hiker, who had fallen seven feet, and airlifted her to safety, officials said.
She was then transported by ground to a hospital, police said.
