County shooting complex now offering ‘golfing with guns’

A new $3 million sporting clay course opening Friday at the Clark County Shooting Complex will give visitors and valley residents a chance to “golf with guns” while enjoying scenic overlooks of the Las Vegas Valley. Shooters testing out the new course will ride in golf carts outfitted with gun racks to travel to 30 different shooting stations spread across 75 acres of desert north of the 215 Beltway.   1. This is a great addition to the shooting park. Sporting clays are give a shooter variety and are a great test of shooting skill.

  2. Should attract quite a few people in the 120 degree temperature of summer.

  3. The golf courses seem to do alright in the summer.

  4. This is exactly what was needed to complete the CCSC. It's truly a world-class facility.
