A woman was killed this morning after the car she was driving crossed the median on Interstate 15 and collided head-on into a semitrailer, the Nevada Highway Patrol reported.
The crash happened about 6:20 a.m. near the Lamb Boulevard exit, Trooper Loy Hixson said.
The Buick four-door sedan was headed north on I-15 when it drifted across the median into oncoming traffic, Trooper Jeremie Elliott said. The car crashed head-on into a semitrailer.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene, he said. All travel lanes of the interstate in the area are now open.
No further details were immediately available.
