Valley temperatures could drop to 15 degrees tonight

The dark, ominous looking clouds hanging around the Las Vegas Valley may look impressive, but the National Weather Service said they won’t produce much snow. “We’re not expecting anything significant, in fact, an hour after the sun goes down most of these clouds will go away,” said Brian Fuis, a spokesman for the National Weather Service. “In other words, no big deal.” Fuis also said a freeze warning for the valley will go into effect today at 10 p.m. and continue until 8 a.m. Saturday. I will be eternally grateful for the National Weather Service's advice to "Keep warm.". There I was thinking shorts and tee would be sufficient outside tonight!!

So, according to your photo, the sun now sets in the east? That photo is looking east, not west, so how can the sun be setting "behind" the mountains? Impossible.

Then again, I've always said I wouldn't trust the LV Sun, even if it told me the sun rose in the east and set in the west. Now I see I was right, because you can't even get that right.
