Sisolak wins election as county commission chairman

Steve Sisolak is the new chairman of the Clark County Commission. He was elected to the post Monday morning by his peers in 4-2 vote with Commissioners Tom Collins and Lawrence Weekly opposed. Commissioner Chris Giunchigliani, whose flight bound for Las Vegas was delayed with technical difficulties, was absent. Commissioners then elected Commissioner Larry Brown as vice chairman in 4-2 vote, same split as the vote for Sisolak. Brown's election came after a motion by Weekly to nominate Commissioner Mary Beth Scow as vice chairwoman failed. Sisolak replaces Susan Brager, who finished her two-year term to lead the panel.   1. I wonder by the Cowboy voted against him. Hopefully Sisolak will do a good job. He seems like the right person for the job.

  2. Uhhhh no. He seems like a scammer deluxe. Lots to hide this one. I'd ask why he wants this job?? He always has complaints but no fixes. Loser.

  4. There are more boards and layers of government than the public realizes. Not sure how this new position is any different than what he's already been doing.

  5. Sisolak is an exceptional leader...
    Anyone can merely get the work done however, Sisolak does his work in a way that inspires others... Excellent Choice!
