Woman charged with arson after fire kills cats at her home

A woman was charged with arson after she allegedly set her mobile home on fire Sunday morning, killing two cats in the Sand Creek Mobile Home Community. Clark County Fire received reports of a fire at 2627 S. Lamb Blvd., space 314, near Karen and Sahara avenues, around 1:35 a.m. County and Las Vegas Fire and Rescue firefighters arrived to find the home engulfed in flames. The fire was extinguished in 11 minutes before it could spread to other nearby homes. The fire caused $10,000 in damage to the home.

If the cats died in the fire, why are they not also levying Animal Abuse charges against this woman?

Arson is a violent crime. So many intended and unintended consequences. What is wrong with people who think they are more important than others? How would you fix that? Can't be done. Incarcerate forever and ever.
