All the turmoil we are witnessing now was self inflicted by total incompetence and lack of leadership during the past six years. NOTHING has changed except more national debt and hopelessness. Caribou Barbie was ten times more qualified to tackle the biggest problem this nation has, immature adult leaders that have never had a life outside of government or some form of family trust.

The inane political posturings that begat the "Fiscal Cliff" should convince us that our current model of representative government has reached it's limitations in the U.S. Special interests combined with making a life-long profession of political office has finally been exposed for what it is: The tyranny of a small minority with the power, financial and political, thinly disguised as Democracy.
We should use this debacle as the point of motivation to organize our politics around direct Democracy for the more important matters of state. Let the people vote directly for their legislation, with the competing platforms being presented, in their entirety, prior to the vote; and with ALL contributing authors and sources being spelled out within the legislation (i.e. lobbyists).
Let the so-called public stewards and their ineffective representative government attend to matters more suitable for their dubious talents: The day to day operations of government like what color to choose for the waste paper baskets used in federal office buildings..and who to award the fat contract to.

I would just like to thank all that voted for this bill. I really hope those that voted for Obama enjoy being lied to, we will only "tax the rich". The left took that hook, line and sinker. I make under 50 grand a year and my check was nearly a hundred dollar less due this so called "tax the rich" policy. I also see that the fact that those REAL MILLIONAIRES in Hollywood are exempt from Obama's tax increases, is getting now news coverage.
You folks have to quit telling people there are no tax increases for 99% It's just not true. Reid and BHO ran around the country telling folks there will be not tax increases on there watch. That is just a complete political fabrication. When you get your pay check look and see what happen to your money. And they want more.... There is no talk of cutting spending either...
