Updated Friday, Jan. 4, 2013 | 5:14 p.m.

A Saudi Arabia air force sergeant has been charged with raping a teenage boy who was visiting the Las Vegas Strip on New Year's Eve. Metro Police were called Monday morning to Circus Circus by hotel security, according to Lt. Dan McGrath with Metro's sexual assault unit. A 13-year-old boy, who was a guest at the hotel, had been walking down a hallway sometime after 8 a.m. when Mazen Alotaibi — a sergeant of the Saudi Arabian air force who was visiting Las Vegas on holiday — made contact and forced the boy into his room, McGrath said. "This juvenile ...

  1. Deport him? How about a speedy trial then some arab type punishment!

  2. General population. We don't owe this guy any special considerations. I hope Metro whooped his ass, (cough) I mean, I hope he fell on the way to the squad car.

  3. Agree with The_Next_Opinion.

  4. Put him in prison. He'll be wearing a dress in a week!

  5. Ain t the first Saudi in Vegas arrested for sexual assault in a Hotel-Casino.

  6. Seriously there are too many freaks roaming every city in every state. This is just sick sick sick. I feel so bad for the kid. Let this monster rot and hope he does himself in and save the state some $$$. SICK!

  7. punish him like they would in saudi arabia for this crime behead him and then execute him

  8. Why not let him out into the main line?

  9. It's amazing how many degenerates make their way to the Strip. Foreign nationals should be on best behavior as they are guests in this country..like a guest in your home.

Trial, convict...then let him break rocks in the desert heat for the rest of his life.

  10. Homosexuality is taboo in Islam and a big deal in Saudi Arabia. Unfortunately we have found from experience that these folks come here and do what they can't at home.

I had numerous Saudi Royal Air Force and Navy students in my classes as a US Marine and had to act as a 'sponsor' for one. I had to intercede more than once to avoid an international incident and keep DC happy. I vowed never to repeat that more than unpleasant duty.

  11. I am sure he landed in the US and felt "entitled" in the land of "entitlements".

  12. How does this incident classify as press? It's part of some sick, twisted insatiable thirst that US papers have with sex related news. There is no compelling information that involves critical thinking whatsoever in this article.

  13. They're gonna love him in jail-repeatedly.

  14. thekube: Rape has less to do with sex and more to do with power. And this was not some story to appeal to sick American obsession with sex. This is a story about a child that was kidnapped and brutalized horrifically. And that IS news, legitimate news. You are the one in need of education.

  15. it's easy to pile on without all the facts... but in this case, OK, kick his a#@!!!

  16. It's sad that the US punishes immigrants that come here to make a better life, but we welcome terrorists here with open arms to commit crimes. And I call this man a terrorist not because he is Arab, but because he is Saudi. Even recently Saudi clerics have advocated rape in Syria against women, blessing the event as temporary "marriages".

George W. Bush famously said in his speech, "Either you are with us, or you are with the terrorists." Time for the Saudi Royal Family to own up to this and decide if they want to embrace Western Culture, or continue to feed radical Islam which breeds terrorists like this scumbag that threaten the world wherever they go.

  17. @BRASS
You're right. Homosexuality is rampant in Saudi but if they are found out - that's it for them!! It is a huge, probably "not so hidden" secret over there.

Interesting to see what is going to happen with this kid. He should be thanking Allah that he is not being sent back to Saudi.

  18. Europe keeps telling us that multi-culturalism doesn't work. So we keep letting any and every body from diverse "cultures" in our midst and this stuff happens over and over again. In many "cultures" force is accepted as long as the forceful "outrank" the preyed upon. This Perp had our State Department's blessings to train at Lackland AFB and took some time off in Vegas--he has the run of the country. And O. wonders why Americans don't feel safe on their own streets and in our day-to-day life. If there is no way to track "visitors" and no way to insist they limit their exploits to the reasons they are in this country via Visa restrictions then STOP ISSUING VISAS.

  19. This visitor didn't attack the boy because he is gay and was looking to have sex with another man. Homosexuals don't settle for children if they can't find the right dude to hook up with. This man is a child predator.

  20. Check his history in Saudi Arabia. He may be related to one of the 911 terrorists then put him in the general population. Surely the general population will be able to protect themselves.

  21. He'll be quietly sent back home and nothing bad will happen to him. Remember, the Saudis are our friends!

  22. Great incite, Brooke. The dude is a predator.

  23. This was not molestation, it was sexual assault. Violent. Hope they deal with him accordingly.
