Suspect in Texas homicide kills himself in Las Vegas, police say

A Texas fugitive wanted in his wife’s slaying shot and killed himself Wednesday in Las Vegas as federal, state and local officers closed in on him, authorities say. Laura Meltzer, a Metro Police spokeswoman, confirmed the suspect was Narada Goodrum, 33. Goodrum was wanted in connection with the shooting death Thursday of his wife, Cynthia Goodrum, 34, said Detective Louis Antu of the Bexar County, Texas, Sheriff’s Office.     Law enforcement sources have confirmed to FOX San Antonio that murder suspect Narada Goodrum, accused of shooting and killing his pregnant wife Cynthia last week, shot himself on the Las Vegas strip. Sources have not confirmed his condition yet. We'll update you when we get more information.

  3. Great! Our society is rupturing in extreme violence and we sit and watch as the mentally ill continually go over "the cliff" in unspeakable acts of rage.

    And what do we do as a country? We ignore the immediate need for a mental health system that screens and treats those that pose high risks to the safety of our family and community environments.
