Car leaves road, hits two pedestrians in North Las Vegas

Gliding Eagle Road

Two pedestrians were sent to the hospital Tuesday after a car veered off the road and hit them, according to North Las Vegas Police.

Police were called to the 6600 block of Gliding Eagle Road near Centennial Parkway a little after 4 p.m., said police spokeswoman Chrissie Coon.

A small Honda coupe was turning a corner heading northbound on the winding road when the driver lost control and careened into two pedestrians.

A man and a woman were transported to UMC Trauma in serious to critical condition.

Police are still investigating the cause of the accident.
