Even though the Oscars had all the movie stars on parade in Hollywood on Sunday, Las Vegas over the weekend played host to dozens of VIP names.
Singer John Legend, with gorgeous fiancee and Sports Illustrated swimwear supermodel Chrissy Teigen, helped 1 OAK at The Mirage celebrate its 1st birthday. Before singing his hits, John serenaded the club’s owners and guests with “Happy Birthday” and “Happy Anniversary.”
Among the revelers: owners Eli Pacino, Richie Akiva and Scott Sartiano, plus, Ryan Phillippe, Paris Hilton and Brandon Davis.
British singer-songwriter Leona Lewis partied at Hyde Bellagio with a group of girlfriends dancing and sipping champagne at a VIP booth.
“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Brandi Glanville appeared at Lavo in Palazzo to celebrate the release of her book “Drinking and Tweeting and Other Brandi Blunders,” which was just named a New York Times bestseller.
Reality TV star Duane “Dog the Bounty Hunter” Chapman and his wife Beth watched Donny & Marie Osmond’s headliner show at Flamingo. Afterward, they went backstage to pose for photographs with the brother-sister duo.
Rick Harrison of “Pawn Stars” watched Dave Attell and Jim Norton at Hollywood Theater at MGM Grand.
“Pawn Stars” sidekick Austin “Chumlee” Russell walked the full 3K signing autographs and posing for photographs along the route of the Gold & Silver Pawn-sponsored Julia’s Heart Throbs team for Children’s Heart Foundation’s 10th annual charity walk.
Oxygen TV’s “Best Ink” reality TV stars model Sabina Kelley and Neff Headwear clothing designer Tal Cooperman enjoyed a cozy dinner at Eva Longoria’s SHe by Morton’s in Crystals.
It was a championship celebration for Ray Rice of the Baltimore Ravens at Tao in The Venetian. The Super Bowl XLVII champ dined before going up to the club, where he was all smiles when surprised with a cake adorned with his jersey.
Over at sister club Marquee in The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, Taye Diggs was spotted with friends in the club’s Boom Box Room. Taye also was at nearby STK, where Ryan Phillippe also was with friends.
Dallas Mavericks star Derek Fisher dined with three ladies at Andrea’s in Steve Wynn’s Encore.
Boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. was surprised at N9NE Steakhouse at Palms by 25 friends, including boxers Sugar Shay Smith, Badou Jack “The Ripper” and Adrian Broner in celebration of his 36th birthday. Floyd tweeted a photograph of a cake made to resemble a $1,000 bill with him at center that he received from his friends at Showtime.
The nearby sports lounge restaurant Heraea also attracted boxers. Mike Tyson enjoyed a vegan meal while watching the Oscars. Pro Haitian-Canadian boxer Jean Pascal enjoyed a New York Strip steak with friends. And ex-heavyweight boxing champion Michael Moorer was in a group celebrating a birthday and greeted diners and posed for photographs.
Chef Gordon Ramsay shopped with his children at Sugar Factory in Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood. He ordered a large cup of hot tea while his kids toured the sweet shop. They picked up two boxed sets of Sugar Factory’s signature Couture Pops to take home. Gordon and his fellow “Master Chef” judge chef Graham Elliot also stopped at Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill at Caesars Palace and Gordon Ramsay BurGR at Planet Hollywood.
Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman partied at GhostBar DayClub in Palms and later dined at N9NE Steakhouse. Chef Barry Dakake got the sports star’s signature on his kitchen shakedown door.
Washington Redskins defensive end Stephen Bowen and his entourage partied at LAX inLuxor.
And in town for an appearance at The Mirage, comedienne Amy Schumer had a late lunch with friends at Joe’s Stone Crab in The Forum Shops of Caesars Palace. The group enjoyed Pacific rock crab claws, Chilean sea bass and a seafood chopped salad.
