Area of accident
A 65-year-old Las Vegas man is dead after an overnight accident.
Metro Police said a preliminary investigation revealed the man, who was driving a 2012 Toyota Prius, may have had a medical episode before the car came to rest after striking a power box on Button Willow Drive.
Evidence and a witness statement indicate that approximately 1:45 a.m., the Prius was traveling west on Button Willow Drive near Crooked Corner Street when the vehicle left the roadway to the right, continued west across the north sidewalk and then struck a power box.
The driver was taken to Summerlin Hospital Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
The man's identity and cause of death will be determined by the Clark County coroner.

If he was not dead by the time he got to Summerlin Hospital it would not take long for the care offered there to kill him.
