CityCenter gets three new Starbucks

The first of three new Starbucks set for CityCenter is expected to open within the next two weeks. The location on the Strip near Mandarin Oriental, next to the Pinkberry frozen yogurt shop, had a sign on the door this morning saying it will open March 8. The menu, which is already up, features Starbucks Reserve and other specialty brand coffees, including the Organic Ethiopian Sidamo, the Komodo Dragon Blend and the Reserve Galapagos. Construction, meanwhile, is continuing on the two other locations. One at the former Pods by Wolfgang Puck coffee spot inside Crystals has a planned summer opening, ...

  1. OMG - Something as common as Starbucks THREE times in the wondrous exclusive world of City Center? There goes the neighborhood! Although Murren did say he wanted to bring NYC to the Strip.

  2. that just might be the key to turning things around over there.

  3. Are the Starbucks strategically placed so people can get enough caffeine to keep them going from the Strip all the way to the casino a few miles in the back?

    Oh that's right...they didn't want Strip patronage. The casino was intended for 'residents' of CityCenter. How's that working out?

  4. When are they going to put in some chairs in the Starbucks next to Treasure Island?
