House fire
A neighbor rescued a woman and two dogs from a burning home Friday afternoon, Clark County Deputy Fire Chief Erik Newman said.
The woman was asleep on the second floor of her home in the 7900 block of Kentshire Drive, near Desert Inn and Cimarron roads, when she awoke to the smell of smoke and the sight of flames consuming her garage, Newman said.
That’s when a neighbor darted into the smoke-filled home and helped her and her two dogs escape.
Firefighters arrived around 12:30 p.m. and extinguished the flames about 20 minutes later.
Newman said the fire was contained to the garage and caused about $100,000 in damage to the home. Investigators are working to determine the cause of the fire.

With all the bashing people like to do in these comments, someone needs to applaud this person! You give us hope!
Someone ought to give that man a key to the city. That's a true hero!!
Need more people like this guy in Las Vegas.
A salute to the Neighbor, thanks and well done!
