Two separate accidents on Interstate 15 North snarled traffic Thursday afternoon.
The first crash happened about 1:15 p.m. near Sahara Avenue when a Chrysler PT Cruiser and a pickup truck collided, Nevada Highway Patrol Trooper Loy Hixson said. No one was injured, but the far two left lanes were closed.
The second wreck happened about 2 p.m. and involved four vehicles at Russell Road, Hixson said. There were an unknown number of injuries, but none were life-threatening, Hixson said. The two express lanes and the far right lane were closed.
