Holly Madison and Rita Rudner at the grand opening of “Million Dollar Quartet” at Harrah’s on Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013.

Blonde beauty Holly Madison, who is eight months’ pregnant, assured me that she was OK after she fell on the red carpet after Tuesday night’s premiere of “Million Dollar Quartet” at Harrah’s. Her high heel got caught in fabric while she was doing an interview, and she toppled backward near comedienne Rita Rudner and “Defending the Caveman” actor Kevin Burke.
Holly fell on her backside but jumped right up and even insisted on finishing the interview. Holly was already standing as Rita and Kevin moved over to assist her. As a safety precaution, she didn’t stay for the after-party. Her baby is now so low that it prompted observers to wonder if her fall would trigger a faster arrival today for her baby daughter.
Late Tuesday night, Holly was on Twitter to me joking about TMZ wanting to pay $25,000 for the video of her fall and to say she was OK. She’s expecting the stork to arrive in the next few weeks.
OSMOND’S NATIONAL ANTHEM: Flamingo headliner Marie Osmond will start this year’s NASCAR 400 race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on March 10 singing the national anthem just before the USAF Thunderbirds flyover.
Marie said in a release: “I’m a NASCAR fan. I admire every element of this sport: the strategy, the choreography of a pit stop, the thrill of the race, but especially the blend of personalities of the drivers and their attention to their fans of every age. I’m honored and happy to be invited to open the Kobalt Tools 400 by singing the national anthem.”
NASCAR TICKET DISCOUNT: The longer history-making Danica Patrick can keep her GoDaddy.com Chevy at the front of the field in Sunday’s Daytona 500, the less the cost of tickets for the 2014 NASCAR Weekend in Las Vegas will be. LVMS will take $1 off 2014 tickets for every lap Danica leads.
LVMS President Chris Powell said: “And there’s a minimum guarantee: Everyone who takes part in this offer is guaranteed a minimum of a $10 discount even if she leads fewer than 10 laps. But if she leads more than that, it’s a dollar off each ticket for each of those laps led.” Danica became the first woman to win a pole position for a NASCAR Sprint Cup race when she edged four-time NASCAR champion Jeff Gordon in qualifying.
WICKED WHISPERS & RACY RUMORS
Updating the Britney Spears buzz, I was told Tuesday night by the Las Vegas group negotiating for her residency that talks are going well, inching ever closer, and it looks as if a compromise on 40 shows over two years will close the deal in the next two weeks.
It was a Las Vegas producer who made an offer to Adele in London for a Strip run at a hotel here with an empty showroom after April, but I can’t tell you the who and where just yet.
Which Strip star thinking his appearance was comped received a $12,000 bill for a big bash thrown in his hotel suite during a visit here?
DJ Calvin Harris will perform 46 dates at Hakkasan opening in April at MGM Grand and 22 dates at nearby Wet Republic.
Over at Light in Mandalay Bay, Axwell has his first Las Vegas residency and is joined by Alesso, Thomas Gold, plus, previously announced Skrillex, Sebastian Ingrosso, Zedd and Baauer.
REALITY TV SHOW INVASION: In addition to the six “American Idol” shows we reported today, Spike TV’s hit “Bar Rescue” films here at a saloon for three days starting Thursday until it reopens Saturday with a new look. Host Jon Taffer will oversee the makeover, and we’ll have a report once filming is completed.
NuvoTV, the first and only English-language cable network for Latinos, has selected Las Vegas resident Rosie Mercado to star in Season 2 of its hit “Curvy Girls.” Filming begins in March. The network, which has more than 28 million viewers, is working with Jennifer Lopez on a production and marketing partnership. “Curvy Girls” will feature Rosie with Strip performers giving her beauty, fashion and modeling tips. Stripper 101?
TOUR DOWN UNDER: Motley Crue rocker Vince Neil left Las Vegas today with makeup-expert girlfriend Rain Andreani for a 16-hour flight to Australia. It’s the group’s longest biggest tour to date Down Under. The rockers, touring with KISS, completed rehearsals over the weekend, as they hadn’t played together since their co-headliner tour ended last summer.
Vince promises to send photos of his Outback adventures with kangaroos and koalas. The tour starts in Perth on Feb. 28 and ends March 16 when Vince flies back here for his Bob Rocks Festival solo show at The Orleans Arena on March 22 with Night Ranger, Skid Row and Quiet Riot.

Just as distinctive as it's famous neighbors Caesar's Palace and The Venetian, Harrah's Las Vegas has been entertaining guests since 1973. The 87,700-square foot casino is filled with 1,520 slot machines and 107 gaming tables. Outside the casino, guests are able to experience fun in a street-fair atmosphere at the Carnival Court, an outdoor lounge with live entertainment (including the bartenders), food stands and outdoor shops.
At Harrah's comedy is King, and that has never been more apparent then the comedy acts of Rita Rudner, the Mac King Comedy Magic Show and the Improv Comedy Club. After the show, guests are more than welcome to laugh at their friends at The Piano Bar, famous for its dueling pianos and karaoke. Most recently, Harrah's added tribute show "Legends in Concert" to its list of entertainment.
Restaurants like Ming's offers Asian cuisine, while Ruth's Chris Steak House offers guests fine steaks and fresh seafood. Toby Keith's I Love This Bar is a country-themed bar with a restaurant, live music and the occasional appearance from Keith himself.
