A woman is dead and her boyfriend is in custody after an overnight stabbing in Las Vegas.
Police say they were called to a house on Silver Knoll Avenue about 11:30 p.m. Sunday. That's near Maryland Parkway and Silverado Ranch Boulevard.
Family members tell Fox 5 a fight broke out while the couple was at a birthday party at the victim's mother's home.
Relatives say the woman crawled out to the patio and was taken to the hospital, but died a few hours later.
Police say the boyfriend has been arrested.
The victim is described as a woman in her 40s with four children.
Will never understand the ability to pull out a knife or gun during a "spousal argument" and start stabbing away like a slasher flick or pounding off rounds like Tony Montoya.
Talk about dysfunctional.

Sad...a mother of four killed right in front of her family...whoever did this deserve more than life in prison...
