One person was killed and several injured in a multiple-vehicle crash Thursday in the northwest Las Vegas Valley, Metro Police said.
The crash was reported at 12:38 p.m. at the intersection of Charleston Boulevard and Apple Drive, Metro Police Officer Laura Meltzer said.
One person was taken to Summerlin Hospital Medical Center in critical condition and was later pronounced dead, Meltzer said. Either three or four other people were transported to the same hospital with moderate injuries, she said.
Charleston Boulevard was closed between Rampart Boulevard and Hualapai Way.
