Recruiters are lining up for Green Valley’s Tyrell Crosby

The 6-foot-6, 295-pound offensive lineman for the class of 2014 already has a scholarship offer from Oregon, others

It’s 10 minutes before the start of Tyrell Crosby’s sixth-period weight training class at Green Valley High School and college football coaches are already starting to gather for a glimpse of the 6-foot-6, 295-pound offensive tackle. Recruiting website rivals.com classifies him as one of the hottest prospects in the region for the class of 2014, and the interest from coaches more than supports the claim. He’s already received scholarship offers from Oregon, Utah, San Diego State and hometown UNLV, and judging by the traffic jam of rent-a-cars in the Green Valley parking lot, more offers surely will follow.   1. Ended up going to 3 or 4 Green Valley games last year, and they had a pretty big line so his size kind of blended in with the other pretty large o line guys they had, but his athleticism was what stood out.

    He reminds me a bit of Ronnie Stanley (Notre Dame) because of his speed but also because even though he's pretty big you can see there's a lot of room to still grow and build more strength which could make him a beast at the next level. Oregon might be doing what Oregon State did in the early 00's pulling some of our best recruits.
