The only problem with getting a bill will be the Obama poison pills that he tries to put in the bill, no workplace enforcement, not border enforcement, skipping the green card process, gay marriage and may others
It is very difficult to try to predict that the entire Tea/Republican Party will introduce common sense legislation, and have it signed into law, when every thing in their history since 2010 shows they block, obstruct, and negate not just this, but EVERYTHING. Kind of hard to predict an outcome other than what the trends show.
The Senate may get something approved, but the howling mob of frothing at the mouth Tea/Republican Party majority that infects the House of Representatives like a malignant cancer, and that includes Heck and Amodei, will outright vote anything down.
Why?
Because President Obama is for it.
Don't matter if the majority of American voters are for this or not.
That's what drives the lunacy of the Tea/Republican Party.
Block, obstruct, negate, no, no, no, NOOOOOOOOOOO!
Having said that, this shows exactly what they think of the Hispanic American voters. Much easier for them to throw out a foul term like "anchor babies" than it is to say citizen. And, it has been proven that everytime their issues are brought up, the flat earthers automatically start talking about illegal immigration. As if everything is tied in with that issue. But they only make themselves look silly and out of touch.
They can point fingers all over the place, and everything shows this is the truth, but the simple fact is that they believe, down to their very souls, they MUST block everything that President Obama and his administration are for. They don't care if the people voted for President Obama. Don't matter if they want a common sense approach to this issue. None of that matters. All they know is attack, attack, attack. They have forgotten how to legislate, govern and lead. Hell, they can't even count. Because to them, compromise is a four letter word. They have lost all abilities to call themselves a political party. They say they are, but they act like a protest movement. Complain, complain, complain, but have no clue what to do to fix anything.
I'm voting Democratic Party ticket. Straight. Each and every election for the rest of my life.
I'm tired of the constant nonsense they throw out there. Nonsense that gets America nowhere.
That's why it's important to get out there and vote in 2014. Vote them out. ALL of them. It's the only thing that is holding America back.
Republicans are stupid! Whatever legislation comes out of the Congress, Hispanics will never vote Republican. Republicans have not explained to spanish speaking individuals what their program is and how being a Republican is better for them.
Passing amnesty will create a Democratic Dynasty and over time Republicans will fade away.
The real solution is finishing and staffing the border fence, E-Verify, clairifying the 14th amendement as to what is an American Citizen. After this an amnesty, but no citizenship for all illegal aliens who have American born childern.
Legal immigrants don't support illegal aliens, they know illegals drive wages down, increase crime and put a severe strain on schools.

Our immigration laws already have pathways to citizenship--we take in about a million a year. That's enough. Our economy has yet to fully recover from the 1986 amnesty when they promised to SECURE OUR BORDERS. We have 20+ million Americans unemployed and underemployed. We might be able to accommodate a few more TEMPORARY agriculture work permits but UNTIL we get a database tracking system that works, we must issue sparingly. Ditto VISAs. We have NO OBLIGATION to provide or take in tourists nor illegal immigrants. What about DISPLACED American workers? What about Americans in need of social programs that are saturated with illegals and I.D. thieves?
Why do the Republicans want to give away 12 million votes? If they help pass a amnesty and once the illegals are citizens they will overwhelmingly vote for Democrats and their kids will too. The Democrats will get credit for passing a amnesty not the Republicans. The Republicans are fools to go along with a amnesty.

I really can't understand all this talk about 'reform'. All we need to do is simply ENFORCE the laws in place - there's nothing with the laws - it's all about the enforcement of same. These laws were good enough for those who came here LEGALLY in the past - all of the sudden they're not? When is Washington going to start representing we, the MAJORITY of the people who have said, repeatedly, that enough is enough - deport the illegals and seal the fricken borders once and for all.
Anything bad that happens will automatically be blamed on the Presidency. Why make immigrants suffer? As long as they show allegiance to the U.S.A., swear them in. I say if the Republicans play this right, making immigrants play by our rules instead of bucking the system, it will turn out well in their favor come next election. Republicans need to show that they are for the welfare of the nation instead of Anti-democrat or anti-Obama.
