Motorcycle fatality
A motorcyclist died early today after crashing into a wall along Dean Martin Drive near Tropicana Avenue, Metro Police reported.
The motorcyclist, a 28-year-old man, was riding north on a 1999 Harley-Davidson about 1:25 a.m. when he approached a left-hand bend in Dean Martin Drive. The motorcycle went off the road at the bend, striking a concrete barrier wall. The man was thrown off of the motorcycle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident was the 113th traffic fatality this year in Metro’s jurisdiction.
