Drone use requires careful deliberation

I am descended from a Republican family of the Deep South. My people are militaristic and warlike. And yet I appreciate President Barack Obama’s foreign policy; it is an improvement over other presidents’ foreign policy. For that reason I would like to thank you for publishing Eugene Robinson’s article Dec. 7, “Morally questionable go-to weapon.

I am forced to agree that I cannot approve of the majority of these drone attacks. Though I do admit that a few of these drone attacks have brought some positive results, all in all, I believe they should be employed very sparingly.
