A man was arrested on counts of arson and domestic assault after a house fire Sunday night.
Clark County firefighters responded about 10:30 p.m. to reports of a fire at 1131 Sleetridge Drive, near Windmill Lane and South Maryland Parkway.
Metro Police officers also were dispatched to the home at the same time, responding to a domestic disturbance call, Clark County Fire officials said.
Firefighters found heavy smoke and fire coming from the single-story home, fire officials said. The flames were extinguished about 30 minutes later.
Paramedics treated a man and woman at scene, officials said.
Metro Police and Clark County Fire Department arson investigators then arrested the man.
The fire caused between $125,000 and $150,000 damage to the house. The incident remains under investigation.
