Media can reverse spending trend

I can not figure out how the federal government is going to pay off the national debt. The deficit spending is still going on, the debt is still going up, and I have not seen any action or proposal by anybody concerning this, the most important issue facing our society today.

I truly believe that the media can turn this around if they start reporting just how dire the situation is. The majority of our citizens are so caught up in their everyday lives they can’t see the forest for the trees. Meanwhile, the Pied Pipers in Washington are leading our nation into total financial ruin.
