Weekend best bets: Las Vegas 51s, Brad Paisley, Art of Beer Fest and Whoopi Goldberg

From fireworks with the 51s to beer festivals to a mountain barbecue, say farewell to summer in celebratory style this Labor Day Weekend with a number of holiday offerings in town.

Here's a look at our weekend best bets:

    • Tonight - Monday: Las Vegas 51s end regular season

      Wrap up the summer at Cashman Field with the final games of the 51s’ 2013 season in a four-game set against Tucson. Tonight’s game will feature a pregame fireworks show; Saturday is fan appreciation night with a 51s jersey giveaway. Tickets are $10 to $20.

    • Saturday: Brad Paisley at Mandalay Bay

      Award-winning country star Brad Paisley brings his “Beat This Summer” tour to Mandalay Bay Events Center on Saturday night for an evening of hits. Tickets to the 8 p.m. show are $45 to $85 and can be purchased through Ticketmaster.

    • Tonight - Saturday: Art of Beer Fest at Bar + Bistro

      Head downtown tonight and kick off Labor Day Weekend with a frosty brew for the inaugural Art of Beer Fest on the Bar + Bistro patio at the Arts Factory. The event features samplings from breweries including Rogue, Squatters and Warsteiner, as well as tasty bites on the sides. Tickets are $25. The fest is 6 to 10 p.m. today and 2 to 10 p.m. on Saturday.

      Sunday: Black Sabbath at MGM Grand Garden Arena

      Ozzy and fellow heavy metal godfathers Tony Iommi and Terry Butler take the stage at MGM Grand Garden Arena on Sunday night in support of the band's latest release, "13," the group's 19th studio album and the first in 35 years to feature all three together on the same album. Tickets are $40 to $130, and the show starts at 7:30 p.m.

    • Rusty Maples

      Saturday: Lee Canyon Mountain Fest at Las Vegas Ski and Snowboard Resort

      Head out to the mountains and get some fresh air Saturday afternoon for a day of local music, tasty barbecue and refreshing drinks from Ballast Point Brewery and Templeton Rye Whiskey at Las Vegas Ski and Snowboard Resort. Local acts Rusty Maples, Same Sex Mary and To the Moon will play. The event is 1 to 6 p.m. Tickets are $10 to $15.

    • Tonight: Whoopi Goldberg at Treasure Island

      Legendary comedienne, Oscar-winning actress and "The View" host Whoopi Goldberg returns to Las Vegas tonight for an evening of standup at Treasure Island beginning at 9. Tickets are $58 to $99.
