The Las Vegas 51s’ seven-game winning streak was snapped Sunday at home against Fresno, 4-1.
The good news for Las Vegas (76-58) is Sacramento also lost, keeping the 51s’ in first place of the Pacific Southern Division by two games with eight remaining.
They were limited to four hits by Fresno’s Eric Surkamp, scoring their lone run in the eighth on consecutive doubles from Brian Bixler and Matt den Dekker.
Las Vegas hits the road for its final trip of the regular season, playing six games at Colorado Springs. Doubleheaders will be played today and Wednesday to makeup cancelled games in April.
