Let the GOP get what it asks for

Although I think it’s brain dead to shut down the government, maybe Republicans have a point. They will show the American people how willing they are to destroy this country and to destroy a president on his way out the door.

Let’s stop Social Security checks from going out. Let’s stop Medicare and the Medicaid that millions of American leeches depend on.

Let’s stop food stamps to millions of American kids and disabled people. Let’s give all power back to insurance companies to use pre-existing conditions as an excuse to deny people help in their time of need.

Let’s not pay the military that we send all over the world.

After all, that’s the American way, isn’t it?

That should make the Tea Party and Republicans who cater to the Tea Party happy, right?

I think it will show the difference between Republicans and Democrats. Maybe a month or two without Social Security checks, Medicare, Medicaid, paid soldiers and with more sequestration will bring some people around. After all, if only a few of us do good, none of us do good.
