One person was taken to University Medical Center after a two-vehicle accident this morning on southbound U.S. 95, near Cheyenne Avenue, according to the Nevada Highway Patrol.
Troopers were called at 7:10 a.m. to the crash involving a green truck and a passenger vehicle, NHP spokesman Jeremie Elliott said.
One person suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries, Elliott said.
The crash blocked two lanes.
The accident is under investigation.
