A corrections officer discovered a male and female inmate allegedly engaged in oral sex Thursday in the transport van during the drive between the Clark County Detention Center and the Municipal Jail.
The officer was driving the 10 male and female inmates in the van when he noticed Carlisa Brookins bent over her seat facing the seat behind her where Alexis Garcia sat, a Metro Police arrest report said.
The van was separated with women in the first two rows and men in the back two rows each wearing belly constraints, but it didn’t appear to stop Garcia and Brookins from commingling.
When the officer turned on the light, Brookins immediately sat up and made several comments claiming she was not a prostitute because she didn’t charge him, the report said.
A female inmate seated next to Brookins said Brookins instigated the oral sex, but she refused to look because it was “gross,” the report said. She said the oral sex went on and off throughout the drive.
A male inmate next to Garcia witnessed the situation, while a second male inmate said he heard noises coming from both that indicated it was a consensual act, the report said.
She initially stated she and Garcia were just talking, before she admitted to committing oral sex to evoke jealousy from the men in the back of the bus, the report said.
Garcia and Brookins were transported back to Clark County Detention Center where they were booked for voluntary sex with an inmate.
